  1. Option 1: Normal Investment – The requirements for an investor visa include an investment of at least USD 50,000. You must submit a certified bank statement confirming the availability of funds, along with a written commitment to transfer USD 50,000 into a Mauritian bank account within 60 days after obtaining your Occupation Permit

  2. Option 2: Net Asset Value – The Mauritius Investor Visa requirements include a net asset value of at least USD 50,000. For existing or inherited businesses, a cumulative turnover of at least 12 million rupees over the three years preceding the application is required.

  3. Option 3: High Technology Machines & Equipment – To qualify for a Mauritius investor visa, you need to invest at least USD 50,000. This option requires you to transfer at least USD 25,000 within 60 days of getting your Occupation Permit and provide a certified bank statement and a written commitment for this transfer. You can use the rest to invest in high-tech machines and equipment for specific qualifying activities.

  4. Option 4: Investor for Innovative Start-ups with No Investment – The requirements for a Mauritius Investor Visa include engaging in Research and Development within sectors such as life sciences, technology, FinTech, and more. There are two pathways for the application: either by presenting an innovative project directly to the EDB for assessment, or by enrolling with an accredited incubator and subsequently submitting your project
